Meet Jennifer

Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Hi, I’m Jennifer, the founder of Pivot Therapies, where I wear many hats—from Specialist Physiotherapist to Pilates Instructor, and yes, the best tea maker.

My journey in physiotherapy has been shaped by my experiences in both the NHS and private practices, each playing a crucial role in making me the therapist I am today. I was drawn to physiotherapy because I genuinely care about helping people in pain and making a tangible difference in their lives. After completing my Masters in Physiotherapy, I was inspired to create a space where I could bring focused, patient-centred care to life and offer the very best of what physiotherapy can provide.

Over the years, I’ve developed a specialty in treating neck, back, and jaw issues, which are so often linked to the postural changes and tensions of modern life. When you visit my clinic, I understand that the uncertainty of pain can be overwhelming. My goal is for you to leave your initial assessment feeling a sense of relief, knowing that you’re in the right place and that we’re on the path to healing.

In addition to my physiotherapy practice, I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the leading experts in Clinical Pilates, and I integrate these insights into every class, course, and workshop I lead. As for my favourite exercise? It has to be the Leg Pull in prone—starting with the basics and working up to Level 2. And for an extra challenge, try it on the reformer with no springs—it’s a true test of strength and control!
