Yoga

At Pivot Therapies, our yoga classes are an invitation to slow down, breathe, and come back to yourself. Whether you’re easing into the day, settling your mind, or looking for an energising lift, each practice from Dawn to Settle to Surge, is designed to help you move with intention and feel more grounded, present, and connected.

Our Yoga Classes

Choose the practice that best supports how you feel, gentle, grounding, or energising.
Each class begins with space to breathe and settle, moves through mindful flow, and ends with time to rest deeply. All levels are welcome.

Dawn

Yoga

Dawn

Ease into the day with movement, breath, and a moment of stillness before the world wakes.
Dawn is a gentle, uplifting Ashtanga flow designed to warm the body, shake off stiffness, and create space in both body and mind.

Expect soft, flowing sequences that connect breath with movement, helping you feel centred, refreshed, and ready for the day ahead.

Surge

Yoga

Surge

Move with purpose and feel the energy build.

Surge is a dynamic Ashtanga flow that blends strength, flexibility, and breath-led movement into a powerful, uplifting practice.
Expect steady, challenging sequences that build heat and focus, leaving you feeling strong, invigorated, and fully present.

Settle

Yoga

Settle

Slow down, unwind, and find your rhythm.

Settle is a calm, steady vinyasa practice with a slower pace, giving you time to move intentionally and deepen your breath.
You’ll explore spacious, flowing sequences with a focus on alignment, balance, and grounding, a soothing practice that leaves you feeling open, calm, and restored.

Frequently Asked Questions

While both Pilates and Yoga help you move well and feel stronger, they focus on slightly different things.

Pilates emphasises core stability, body awareness and precise alignment, often using small equipment or machines.

Yoga leans into breath, flowing movement and mindfulness, creating space to reconnect body and mind.

At Pivot Therapies, your yoga class is as much about how you feel as how you move.

Just come as you are! We provide high-quality mats, blocks, blankets and lavender eye-masks, so you don’t need to bring props unless you’d like to. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and bring water. If you plan to use our showers, please bring your own towel and toiletries.
Not at all! Yoga here is for everyBODY, no matter your level of flexibility. Our instructors offer plenty of variations and gentle options, so you can move in a way that feels safe and comfortable. Flexibility is a journey, not a prerequisite.
Yes, and you’re very welcome. We adapt classes to meet your needs. If you’re pregnant or recovering from injury, let us know in advance so we can help you choose a class (for example Yoga: Settle or Dawn) and ensure you feel fully supported. If you have specific questions, our physiotherapy team can offer guidance.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before class begins to get settled and make use of the changing room, locker, and any props you may wish to use. If you arrive after the class has started, we’ll do our best to welcome you quietly, but please note the instructor may already have begun setting the tone of the session.
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own mat, blanket or block if that makes you feel more comfortable. However, everything you need is available on site, so it’s not required.
Yes, we have changing rooms, showers and locker facilities available for your use. Please bring your own towel and toiletries. (Note: showers are not available after our final evening classes.)

If it’s your first time, we recommend starting with Yoga: Settle, our gentle paced flow that helps you move mindfully and build confidence.

From there, once you feel comfortable, you may wish to try Yoga: Dawn for energy or Yoga: Surge for a more dynamic flow. Our instructors can advise you on what feels right for your body.
