Women’s Dance at Pivot Therapies: Strength, Expression, and Confidence in Motion

Move in a way that feels expressive, grounded, and fun. Our Barre, Classical Ballet, and Heels classes are all about enjoying music, reconnecting with your body, and finding a rhythm that suits you. Each style shares a focus on posture, alignment, and quality of movement, but each has its own personality, from the indie beats of Barre, to the quiet elegance of Classical Ballet, to the bold, empowering energy of Heels. However you like to move, there’s a class here that meets you exactly where you are.

Barre vs Classical Ballet

Barre

Feel: uplifting, rhythmic, empowering

Classical Ballet

Feel: elegant, flowing, expressive

Heels

Feel: bold, confident, joyful

Barre: Indie

A feel-good barre class with a calm, artistic vibe.

Indie blends ballet-inspired movement with strengthening exercises, set to a mix of indie and classic tracks that make the session feel relaxed and expressive. Expect gentle pulses, stretches, and flowing sequences that help you feel grounded, strong, and connected.

Barre: Glow

A joyful, upbeat barre class that lifts your mood as much as your heart rate.

Glow brings together ballet-inspired movement, simple conditioning exercises, and a playlist of feel-good hits that make the class fly by. It’s the kind of session where you work hard without even realising it, and leave feeling brighter, energised, and proud of yourself.

Women’s Classical Ballet

A welcoming classical ballet class for anyone who wants to move with grace, control, and expression, whether you’re completely new to ballet or returning after time away.

Classes are open and progressive, with clear options offered throughout to support both Beginners and Intermediate movers in the same session. You’ll explore posture, alignment, barre work, and simple centre sequences at a comfortable pace, with space to build confidence and technique over time.

The focus is on enjoyment, expression, and steady progress, rather than perfection or performance. This is a supportive environment where you can reconnect with your body, enjoy the music, and move in a way that feels elegant and rewarding.

No previous ballet experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to move.

Women’s Heels

A confidence-building class that’s all about owning your movement and enjoying your body.

Heels focuses on expressive, empowering movement designed to help you feel strong, confident, and unapologetically yourself. You’ll explore posture, balance, and grounded steps through fun, accessible choreography, all set to uplifting, feel-good music.

This class isn’t about perfection or performance, it’s about confidence, freedom, and having fun moving your body. Heels are optional, you’re welcome to move in trainers or socks if that feels better for you.
